Having a photo booth at a wedding can create the most memorable experiences for family and friends. Something about getting into a small space together, hidden behind a curtain, brings out a moment of craziness in each person that can create a visual memory that could literally last a lifetime. You can either create one yourself, work in conjunction with your photographer or even hire an entire photobooth for the day.

To make your own, all you need is a secluded area – get creative – we’ve even seen one inside a camper van! If you can set aside a small room or corner for this purpose then great – if not, then setting up an area or marquee outside will do just fine too. Use a plain background if possible, and make sure it is well lit and there’s no danger of the camera being knocked over.

You can have a designated photographer, or set up a tripod and a camera with a remote or cable release so your subjects can take photos of themselves without having to set a timer. Provide props like empty picture frames, hats, wedding paraphernalia or blackboards or giant speech bubbles so guests can write notes to add to their pictures. Outside is best for lighting, but if you’re shooting inside then just ensure the light is good and the camera settings are adjusted for the conditions.

Photo booths seem to capture those real moments at weddings – away from the formal posing and usually after a couple of drinks! Many couples treasure these photos as much as their professional ones because they truly show the joy and personality of their guests. Don’t forget to sneak in there too – it’s not just for guests!

The options for silly and wonderful photos are endless. Play dress up, act out your favourite poses, or simply show off your gorgeous wedding dress – you only get to wear it for one day after all! Your guests will love getting together to celebrate your day in photographic style.

Photo booths can be rented all over the UK and range in price, depending on their facilities. Some also allow video messaging and live streaming to an external monitor which can be placed in the reception room. Expect to pay upwards of £500 for a professional booth, however. If you rent an automated machine you will have the option of having photos printed there and then, or put onto disc for you to take home and distribute (or use as blackmail) as you wish.

A Flying Camera has been custom manufacturing photobooths for almost 10 years. They have mastered the perfect design of real steel, fully enclosed, legitimate photobooths. Specifically designed for speed, ease of use, and most importantly, great photos – A Flying Camera’s photobooths are ideal for your event.

Hiring a wedding photographer can be an affordable and creative way to remember every single moment of your wedding. You may need to hire a professional wedding photographer, make a list of important events you want to be photographed, choose good locations, gather every relative and what not.

First, you have to hire a good professional wedding photographer well in advance by properly checking his credentials and other details. If you delay the booking you may not be able to find good photographers. Once you have decided on a person you need to work together to make him understand all your requirements. You can give him all the details about the important moments you want to be captured, your relatives, and the various locations to include so that he can be prepared for the job. Make a complete list of shots you would like to be made and hand it over to him well ahead so that he can be prepared for the event.

Quite often, you miss a lot of people in your photographs, especially some of your close relatives. In order to avoid such situations, it is better to appoint a family coordinator who can guide the photographer to take photos of all the important guests without missing anyone. To get the best wedding photographs you need to do a lot of preparation. You can make a visit to beautiful locations close by to look for places you want to be photographed. This will also be very helpful on your special day to quickly go to these locations and take shots.

For additional assistance, the photographer can also have a second photographer to help him out on certain occasions. Some moments may be difficult to shoot from a single location. In the presence of a second photographer he can take the shots from another angle as well. This will be very helpful to choose the best shots of the important events. Apart from this the photographers should be well prepared with their cameras which should be in good working condition and include all other necessary items which might be useful in emergency situations.

There might be some moments when something goes wrong in the midst of the wedding. Such situations can be used to capture a lot of fun images which will be appreciated and fun to look at later on. So it is up to the photographer to use his own creativity and initiative to provide the best wedding photography for everyone to remember.

In Ohio, whether you prefer to customize the smallest details of your wedding photography, or want the simplicity of packages, professional Ohio wedding photographer at Chrisaram.com offers both options!

Pricing is a la carte but they offer a collection of packages that may serve as helpful starting points. They’ll talk about what you’re looking for when they meet and ultimately design a plan that is tailored exactly to you.

All brides know that there are bridal shows and brides in droves attend them, but not all brides realize what the differences between the big shows and smaller elite shows are. Here’s what the smart brides know and why they attend the elite shows far more than the bigger shows.

First let’s start with big shows. Highly visible, everyone knows about them, several vendors from each category all of which are killing themselves to attract your attention. There’s no real investigation as to if the vendor sending in their money and application to be included in the show is an outstanding vendor or wedding professional. DIY brides are there to see what the newest trends are so they can try to re-produce them on tighter budgets. It’s a big show and brides flock because they’ve heard about on the TV, radio and it’s been in the paper, shows up in on line searches etc.

Then upon arriving the excited bride wanting to get the needed materials to help her plan her wedding… is thrown into this sea of hundreds of other brides and their group of friends and mothers with 20-50 vendors giving her a rushed sales pitch and sending her out the door, head spinning, overwhelmed and with a bag of paper materials. The bride typically feels like she and the other brides somehow been turned into cattle at a cattle call and now has no idea what to do next. She didn’t get to spend any time talking to any of the vendors, just given info, talked to not talked with and then pushed down the aisle to the next table.

Then let’s discuss what an elite bridal show means. The biggest difference, it’s far more laid back, instead of hundreds of brides, at most there’s 100-150. There’s 1 wedding professional and their company per category, the vendors and wedding professionals have been in some cases hand-picked to be there and if not hand-picked then there’s been an extensive interview process to ensure that they are of great quality and deliver again and again exactly what they’ve promised and in most cases exceeded their clients expectations.

Additionally an elite show usually includes categories that come before your wedding day, your actual wedding day and after your wedding day and each and every wedding professional is one of a kind, completely unique in their field, meaning that they offer not just the regular wedding services but truly customize their services to their clients and the needs of that client. So it’s your wishes, your vision and you that gets the attention all the way through the planning and on your wedding day. You get to spend the time to get to know the wedding professionals and the wedding professionals get to know you.

What exactly does that mean? It means that you’ll get to actually sit down with your glass of champagne and talk to the owner of the rental company that carries the glasses you’ve been dying to have at your engagement party. You can talk to the owner of the salon that specializes in bachelorette parties. You get to really discuss with the honeymoon professional your trip and which bells and whistles you want. You can spend time to really meet and see the quality in the photographer’s pictures. You’ll get to see a fashion show in 95% of the cases by a designer who custom designs wedding gowns. You can discuss your wedding gown vision with the professional who would actually make your gown to your measurements and to your vision.

So in re-cap, there’s a few brides in comparison to the big shows and their guests in attendance verses the massive show. If you’re a busy professional or student with very limited time, you can hire all of the professionals, including the high quality planner and coordinator to help you pull together all of the details. You can spend a few hours and actually leave with a minimum of 1/2 your wedding professionals hired and feel really good about your decisions. When you leave, you feel great, far less stress and still very excited about your wedding knowing that you’ve met the best of the best, high quality wedding professionals who consistently deliver on their promises and have your best interests in heart….and they’re working with you on your wedding to make your wedding day as you’ve envisioned.

Now that you know the difference, I’m sure that we’ll be seeing you at an elite bridal show soon. Regardless of if you attend a show hosted by us or another wedding professional, please remember to pre-register. It’s the way that the host makes sure that there is plenty of champagne, appetizers and has the high quality wedding professionals for you to talk with who care about you. Now you’re one of the smart brides too.

One of my favorite parts about the wedding, is the cake. Over time many things have changed with weddings, but one thing that stays the same, there is always a beautiful cake. The wedding cake is a big part of the wedding, and something ‘everyone” remembers. So when deciding on which cake is right for your perfect day, there are many factors to take into consideration.

When is your wedding?

The date and location of your wedding is crucial when choosing the cake. For example if you plan on having your wedding in the summer at a hot location, things like mousse, or even ice cream cake might be out of the question Ask your baker what types of cake are in “season”

How big will the cake be?

Wedding cakes can come in all shapes and sizes. Traditional cakes which have several tiers are normally a great choice, and one your guests will remember. Depending on how many guests you have your options are limitless. Of course the biggest factor in deciding how large your wedding cake should be, is knowing how man guests you will have.

What’s your flavor?

Depending on the style of the cake, you have many different options. If the cake is multiple tiers, many people are choosing to have several different kinds of cake. Each level can be different, offering something for everyone. With wedding almost anything goes when it comes to the cake.

What kind of Icing?

Traditionally icing has been white or a light cream color. However today, many are matching their icing color with the overall theme of the wedding.. The actually icing can be a simple sugar and flour recipe, or even a rich cream cheese icing. There are many great icing ideas online which are sure to please even the most picky guests.

Decorations

Decorating a cake is only limited by your imagination. Some couples design the cake around the décor or theme of the wedding. While others give the cake a unique look, with crazy and outrageous decorations which define who they are. Most Depend on what you need, bakers decorate cakes with the look of lace, embroidery appliqué or elegant drapes or swag.

Your wedding cake should be as individual as you. The worst thing you can do when choosing a cake is just “settling.” Shop around a bit, decided on the cake, style and decorations, and find a baker who is willing to accommodate you. Many couples even order their cakes as much as 6 months ahead of time to insure they get what they want.
