How To Plan The Flowers For Your Wedding
Although you want to plan ahead of time you do not want to have the flower arrangements set up too far ahead of the wedding ceremony. Even if you have friends and relatives who are taking care of the flowers for you do not set them up too early. It is best to have the arrangements done at most a few hours prior to the ceremony. Even setting them up the night before can result in wilting flowers and can ruin the look of your wedding.
If you are using a florist make sure that you have a detailed contract that outlines the details of what you have agreed to and discussed including pricing, timing, types of flowers and anything else that you deem to be important. You must be specific about colors, sizes, numbers, etc. Do not just leave it up to the florist, they will do the least they can get by with if you don’t spell it out ahead of time and get it in writing. If you plan ahead and shop around you can be sure that your special day will be enhanced by the flower arrangements and the people you use to set them up for you, if you don’t it could make your special day turn into a big headache. It is smart to have someone help you; don’t try to take on all the planning by yourself.
